Suresh Samson, M.D. is committed to high quality compassionate healthcare. By integrating the most recent medical advances in an environment that is sensitive to the diverse needs of patients, Dr. Samson develops treatment plans that lead to the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Samson is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and his residency at Yale University Bridgeport Hospital in Bridgeport, CT. He is an American Society of Hypertension (ASH) Specialist in Clinical Hypertension.


Tauseef Sarguroh, M.D.

Nephrologist


Tauseef Sarguroh, M.D. believes in having an educational relationship with his patients that not only teaches them about all aspects of their disease and treatment options, but also focuses on habits that encourage their healthiest lifestyle possible. He prides himself on delivering compassionate, collaborative care that involves the patient, primary care physician, and all members of the care team to achieve the best possible health outcomes. Dr. Sarguroh treats patients with all kidney conditions and has a special interest in hypertension, glomerular diseases, renal replacement therapy (RRT) modality counseling, home hemodialysis, and peritoneal dialysis. He is an excellent communicator and makes a point to answer patient’s questions during appointments so that they have a clear understanding of their diagnosis. His practice is enhanced by his knowledge of conversational Spanish, which allows him to communicate with a diverse patient base.

Dr. Sarguroh is board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine. He completed his fellowship at Harlem Hospital Columbia University Medical Center in New York, where he received the Fellow Of The Year Award 2015, and did his residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY, where he was awarded Resident Of The Year for excellence in professionalism.


Albara Said, M.D.

Nephrologist


Albara Said, M.D. believes that patient education as well as collaboration between the patient, care team, and primary care doctor is vital to producing the best health outcomes in the treatment of kidney disease. Dr. Said’s commitment to healthcare has been recognized with a plethora of awards including but not limited to the Governor’s Outstanding Resident of the Year award and the (hospital) Teaching Excellence award.

Dr. Said is board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and board-certified in Nephrology.

He is dedicated to offering compassionate care and better health outcomes to the patients he serves.


Syed Hashmi, M.D.

Nephrologist


Syed Hashmi, M.D. strives to achieve the best and the most appropriate clinical management for his patients. He believes that incorporating the most current and up-to-date guidelines in medicine is key to warranting positive change in his patient's lives.

Chidinma Ekenna, M.D.

Nephrologist


Dr. Ekenna grew up in North Carolina and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Vidant Medical Center/ East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Upon completion of her residency, Dr. Ekenna attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, where she completed her Nephrology Fellowship. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine.


Aundrea Gooden, MSN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner


 

Aundrea Gooden, MSN, FNP-C believes in providing care to patients as a whole as opposed to just treating their symptoms. She received her Nursing education at West Suburban College of Nursing in Oak Park, Illinois. After getting her bachelor's degree she worked primarily in Cardiac-Telemetry and Nephrology. She wanted to further her education and went back to Governors State University to pursue a Master's degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Aundrea also holds Certifications as a Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) and Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) . She loves to educate patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle to prevent future illnesses and diseases.  Aundrea grew up in the City of Chicago. She enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, and traveling.
